Michael Shamblin has over thirty years of experience in recording. More importantly, he has even more experience in music. A music arranging major at the University of Alabama, his experience and skills include composing, arranging, producing and performing. Michael has had two Billboard Top 100 charting Country songs and one Dance song that made the charts and was played overseas for many years. He has also played keyboards with several popular performers, from Contemporary Christian artist Greg Crowe, to Blues artist Bo McGee. Several artists who were recorded and produced by Michael Shamblin have signed with both major and independent record labels, such as Bill McCorvey of the Pirates of the Mississippi, Greg Crowe, and Working Mothers. Grammy Award winning Nashville gold record producer Gary Paxton provided a letter of recommendation for the Mastering work Michael did on one of his projects that was released not only nationwide, but in other countries as well. We submitted a quality bid (not a price bid) to him for the job, as did a well known Nashville mastering facility and a known L.A. mastering facility, and he chose our work over theirs. We have also been selected twice over Nashville facilities to produce the music for the First United Methodist Global conventions. Shamblin Sound has also produced musical advertising productions for regional and national broadcast, and has received several ADDY Awards for Best Musical Productions. The knowledge is there. No learning on your time. Call or E-mail today to reserve studio time at Shamblin Sound.
